The coarse woven yellow textile decorated with another textile is applied upon it with the designs outlined in black thread. The textile depicts two wide crossed swords,which is called (Al Safayeh).

The bearer of each sword is ended with ribbons. Probably the blazon, of the silihdar, or sword bearer, who was in charge of the armory during Mamluk times.
